Volunteer: “Walk so Kids Can Talk” for Kids Help Phone, May 1st, 2016

The Walk so Kids Can Talk presented by BMO is Canada’s largest fundraising walk in support of young people’s mental health and well-being. It benefits 6.5 million kids, teens, and young adults in Canada, ensuring they have access to a trusted source of immediate, non-judgemental, anonymous, and professional counselling support and clinically vetted information. Through this support for their mental and emotional well-being, the Walk helps young people help themselves and contributes to stronger, healthier communities for everyone.

Students are welcome to volunteer and also walk – speak to Ms. Wong if you’d like to walk with the team of a St. Andrew’s parent. Please note: Volunteer opportunities vary depending on the Walk location. Please check the website for roles and details.

To sign up, go to http://www.walksokidscantalk.ca/volunteer and then scroll down to Ontario and make an account within the VMS system.
