Secondary Info Nights: Oct-Jan

TDSB schools host open houses and information nights for parents and grade 8 & 9 students each year. Open houses take place between October and January and are an opportunity to learn everything you need to know about the TDSB’s incredible variety of schools, programs and courses. Open houses start as early as October 2nd (A.Y. Jackson; no grade 9 program).

A printed copy of the TDSB open house schedule is being sent home on October 1st.

Punctuality letter and Green Acres timing

Attached is the letter being sent home today with all students regarding punctuality and consequences. Please reinforce with your child our expectations.

GREEN ACRES – Please note that students are expected in their Group room by 8:15 a.m. sharp and should return to school by approximately 3:15 p.m. Although the weather outline is sunny, students should dress for slightly cooler temperatures in the morning. A BBQ lunch is being provided. All groups are posted in the Main foyer outside the cafeteria. This promises to be a great day allowing our students to interact with students from other classes in the same grade. Any students not attending the trip will be placed in a class with another grade (i.e. grade 7’s with a grade 8 class or grade 8’s with a grade 7 class).  Thank you to the over 95 % of our grade 7 and 8 students who have brought in their permission forms.

Wednesday October 1st – Grade 7 trip

Thursday October 2nd – Grade 8 trip
