No smoke, no fire – just a little excitement at SAJH

There was an odd smell detected in one of our classrooms this morning and the caretaker was informed.  After checking into it, TDSB protocols were followed which involve the fire department coming to assess the situation.  The fire fighters checked out the room, the surrounding area and a unit that is located on the roof above the affected room.  Their findings assured us that there was no need for alarm.  The teacher and classes were relocated for the afternoon and TDSB maintenance will check into the cause of the odour further.

There is no need for alarm!

We are asking for donations of items and services for our Silent Auction as well as donations of water and nut free baked goods. We are also seeking volunteers to assist during the day on November 30th. We appreciate your support of this great community event.
